QuitScrolling is a productivity and digital wellness tool. It is not therapy, medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis support, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified clinician.

If you are in crisis

If you are in immediate danger, call 911. To reach the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, call or text 988 in the US. To reach the Crisis Text Line, text HOME to 741741. If you are outside the US, contact your local emergency number or a local crisis line.

Emergency access

QuitScrolling is designed to add friction only to distracting apps you choose. It does not block your phone's emergency calling, and essential functions remain available, subject to your device and operating system.

Educational content

Our Learn articles are general education, not medical advice. If you have concerns about your mental health, sleep, or phone use, talk with a qualified clinician.

What QuitScrolling will and won't do in an emergency.

Emergencies always reach you. Calls and essential apps are never locked behind the recovery phrase. If you need to reach someone, you can. If someone needs to reach you, they can. The product is built so the boundary holds against impulses and parts for emergencies.

If you're in mental health crisis.

QuitScrolling is a wellness tool, not a crisis service. If you're in crisis, the right move isn't an app. Call or text 988 in the US to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Call 911 if anyone is in immediate danger.

Health and safety limits we don't pretend to handle.

We won't tell you to use the app instead of seeing a clinician. We won't promise to fix sleep, anxiety, or attention as clinical conditions. If a phone boundary is part of a broader care plan, this can fit alongside it. If you need more than a phone boundary, see a clinician.
